The Organization of Nigerian Building Professionals Chicago Chapter
Is a nonprofit, organization founded in Chicago in 1993 as the voice of Nigerian American Building Professionals practicing in the Chicago area, both in the private sector and in federal, state, county and city Government. ONBP was established after the founding members convened a reception honoring Mr. Femi Majekodunmi, a Nigerian architect, who was the president of the International Union of Architects (UIA). Many ONBP members emigrated here from Nigeria, Africa's most populous country with an estimated population of 100 million people.
